Paper & Carriage

Nominated for a 2009 Utne Independent Press Award!

 

Paper & Carriage is a small-run journal intended to bridge the gap between creative and critical nonfiction and the visual arts.

We publish new and established writers of creative nonfiction, essays, cultural and art criticism and memoir in thematic, quarterly issues aimed at readers interested in new nonfiction writing, creative practice and slow media. Each issue is a limited edition, bound with hand-pulled and signed print covers by local artists.

 

 

Phonebook

Phonebook is a collaborative publication with Green Lantern Press, Chicago. Published annually, Phonebook is an ongoing effort to list and archive the not-for-profit, fringe and ephemeral exhibition practices throughout the United States (and in time, internationally), into a user's guide for artists, curators, researchers and eager audiences.

Organized regionally with contact information and missions listed for over 300 spaces, Phonebook is an indispensable resource for tracking down the best arts programming!
